Saturnia is a well-known tourist-spa resort in southern Tuscany.

Saturnia is famous for its thermal spring of sulphurous water, which originates a stream of thermal water, the Gorello, which flows sinuously through a thick reed thicket, along its path creating some natural pools, continuously fed, ideal for a regenerating bath.

The Gorello thermal stream continuously feeds the Cascate del Mulino.
