Properties of the waters of Saturnia
The thermal waters of Saturnia are known and appreciated throughout the world for their unique properties, due to the particular composition and richness of minerals.
The water of the Cascate del Mulino is sulphurous and comes out of the Saturnia spring with a flow rate of 500 l/s, at a constant temperature of 37.5°C.
The thermal water of Saturnia originates on Mount Amiata and after a long underground journey reaches Saturnia enriched with gases and mineral salts, perfect for the treatment of dermatological diseases, such as dermatitis, psoriasis and acne, cardio-circulatory disorders, acting as a vasodilator and decreasing blood pressure, respiratory problems, increases lung ventilation, has an important protective and purifying action on the liver and has a natural anti-aging, antiseptic and exfoliating action on the skin.
